The hosts, especially señora Luz, were friendly and helpful, providing tailored advice on local activities and the excellent breakfast that I looked forward to daily. My room was adequate, with air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi, which kept me connected and cool in Cartagena's heat. The property creates a unique environment, built around a large rock with sprawling gardens that host a myriad of iguanas. It's just a 20-minute stroll to the bustling center, yet far enough away from the noise, offering its guests a tranquil escape. With amenities like a shared kitchen and organized laundry services, the value is apparent. It's clear that this hostal serves not only as a home, but as a gateway into Colombia's rich surroundings. I can't wait to return!
